This instrument declares that the Fair Entitlements Guarantee Act 2012 applies to persons who were employed, but no longer employed, by the HRL group of companies. The companies are entities under administration under Part 5.3A of the Corporations Act 2001. The Act does not otherwise apply to persons whose former employer is under administration.

I, MICHAELIA CASH, Minister for Employment, make this declaration under section 49 of the Fair Entitlements Guarantee Act 2012.

1.      Name of declaration

This declaration is the Fair Entitlements Guarantee (Extended operation of the Act in relation to HRL Group of Companies in Administration) Declaration 02/2015.

2.      Commencement

This declaration commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.

3.      Declaration

The Fair Entitlements Guarantee Act 2012 applies in relation to persons who were employed, but are no longer employed, by: 

·         HRL Limited (Administrators Appointed),

·         HRL Technology Pty Ltd (Administrators Appointed),

·         Linepro Pty Ltd (Administrators Appointed),

·         Aerial Devices Australia Pty Ltd (Administrators appointed),

·         Vemco Pty Ltd (Administrators appointed),

·         Vemco Services Pty Ltd (Administrators appointed), and

·         Vemtec Pty Ltd (Administrators appointed)  (together called ‘HRL Group of Companies’)

which are entities in administration under the Corporations Act 2001.
