EXPLANATORY STATEMENT

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Authority for making the instrument:  Information Infrastructure and Services Statute 2012, section 5.

 

 

2. Purpose and operation of the instrument:  The Rule sets out conditions of access to the University’s information infrastructure and services, defines conditions of use, and describes the procedures for dealing with contraventions and penalties for contraventions.

 

 

3. Documents incorporated in the instrument by reference:  None.

 

 

4. Consultation process:  The Rule was made by the Vice-Chancellor on the recommendation of the University Librarian and Chief Information Officer.
