EXPLANATORY STATEMENT

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Authority for making the instrument:  Academic Misconduct Statute 2014, section 3.

 

 

2. Purpose and operation of the instrument:  The Rule defines academic misconduct by students of the University and set out the consequences of, and University procedures for dealing with, such misconduct.

 

 

3. Documents incorporated in the instrument by reference:  None.

 

 

4. Consultation process:  The Rule was made by the Vice-Chancellor on the recommendation of the Academic Board.
