Part 1Preliminary

  

1  Name

                   This is the Legislation (General) Regulation 2015.

2  Commencement

             (1)  Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

1.  The whole of this instrument

At the same time as Schedule 1 to the Acts and Instruments (Framework Reform) Act 2015 commences.

3  Authority

                   This instrument is made under the Legislation Act 2003.

4  Definitions

                   In this instrument:

Act means the Legislation Act 2003.

Part 2Continuing disallowance provisions

  

5  Continuing disallowance provisions

                   For subsection 57(5) of the Act, subsection 57(2) of the Act does not apply to the disallowance provisions in subsections 7(8) and (8A) of the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973.

Note 1:       Under subsection 57(2) of the Act, sections 42 to 48 of the Act are taken to apply to a document that is a legislative instrument to the exclusion of disallowance provisions in force before 1 January 2005 that applied in relation to the document.

Note 2:       The effect of this section is that the disallowance provisions in subsections 7(8) and (8A) of the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973 continue to apply instead of the disallowance provisions in sections 42 to 48 of the Legislation Act 2003.
