This class order amends the ASIC Class Order [CO 12/749] by extending the relief from the shorter PDS regime, that was due to expire on 30 June 2015, to 30 June 2016 pending the outcome of the Financial System Inquiry and further work by the Government on the shorter PDS regime.

Enabling legislation

1.       The Australian Securities and Investments Commission makes this instrument under paragraph 1020F(1)(c) of the Corporations Act 2001.

 

Title

 

2.       This instrument is ASIC Class Order [CO 14/1118].

 

Commencement

 

3.       This instrument commences on the day it is registered under the Legislative Instruments Act 2003.

Amendment

 

4.       ASIC Class Order [CO 12/749] is amended by, in paragraph 6, omitting “30 June 2015.” and substituting “30 June 2016.”.
