This instrument replaces the Radiocommunications (121.5 MHz and 243.0 MHz Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons) Standard 2003 without making any significant changes as the 2003 Standard was due to be automatically repealed on 1 April 2015, in accordance with Part 6 of the Legislative Instruments Act 2003.
