Issuing of guidelines under section 95 of the Privacy Act 1988

 

I, Warwick Anderson, Chief Executive Officer of the National Health and Medical Research Council, hereby issue under subsection 95(1) of the Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act) guidelines for the protection of privacy by agencies in the conduct of medical research, entitled Guidelines under s95 of the Privacy Act 1988, 2014.

 

This has the effect of revoking all previous versions of the guidelines.

 

The Guidelines under s95 of the Privacy Act 1988, 2014 commence on 12 March 2014.
