General Comments: This instrument was revoked by Migration Regulations 1994 - Specification of Income Threshold and Annual Earnings 2015 - IMMI 15/050 on 18 April 2015. The revoking instrument is disallowed in full by the Senate at 19:13 on 16 June 2015. This instrument is therefore revived with effect from the day and time of disallowance as if it had not been revoked.

SPECIFICATION OF INCOME THRESHOLD AND ANNUAL EARNINGS

(Paragraphs 2.72(10)(cc) and 2.79(1A)(b) and subregulation 2.72(10AB))

 

 

I, BRENDAN O’CONNOR, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under paragraphs 2.72(10)(cc) and 2.79(1A)(b) and subregulation 2.72(10AB) of the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’):

 

1.      REVOKE Legislative Instrument IMMI 12/047 signed on 12 June 2012 specifying temporary skilled migration income threshold and annual earnings; AND

 

2.      SPECIFY, for the purposes of paragraph 2.72(10)(cc) of the Regulations, that the temporary skilled migration income threshold is AUD 53,900; AND

 

3.      SPECIFY, for the purposes of subregulation 2.72(10AB) and paragraph 2.79(1A)(b) of the Regulations, annual earnings of AUD 250,000.

 

This Instrument number IMMI 13/028 commences on 1 July 2013.
