The memberships of the advisory groups provide for collegial contributions to College governance by staff and students.

EXPLANATORY STATEMENT

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Authority for making the instrument.  ANU College Governance Statute 2013, section 4.

 

 

2. Purpose and operation of the instrument.  The Rules provide for the establishment of committees and other bodies that will advise the College Dean of each ANU College on matters relevant to the operation and development of the College.  The memberships of the advisory groups provide for collegial contributions to College governance by staff and students.

 

 

3. Documents incorporated in the instrument by reference.  None.

 

 

4. Consultation process.  The Rules were approved by the Council of the University at its meeting on 24 May 2013.
