This order amends the Acts Interpretation (Substituted References - Section 19B) Order 1997 to alter a reference in a provision of an Act to a particular Minister, Department or Secretary of a Department to ensure that Ministers, Departments and Secretaries of Departments can exercise all powers granted to them following the amendments of the Administrative Arrangements Order.

1  Name of order

                   This order is the Acts Interpretation (Substituted References—Section 19B) Amendment Order 2013 (No. 1).

2  Commencement

                   This order commences on the day after it is registered.

3  Authority

                   This order is made under subsections 19B(1), (2) and (3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901.

4  Schedule(s)

                   Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
