Indigenous Education (Targeted Assistance) Amendment Regulation 2013 (No. 1)

This regulation amends the Indigenous Education (Targeted Assistance) Regulations 2001 to make provision for an increase in the amounts that may be payable to organisations, institutions and individuals under section 14B of the Indigenous Education (Targeted Assistance) Act 2000 in order to supplement the cost of delivering educational services to Indigenous students for the period 1 January 2012 to 30 June 2013 in line with changes in the WC11. The WC11 for 2012 is 1.7 per cent.

1  Name of regulation

                   This regulation is the Indigenous Education (Targeted Assistance) Amendment Regulation 2013 (No. 1).

2  Commencement

                   This regulation commences on the day after it is registered.

3  Authority

                   This regulation is made under the Indigenous Education (Targeted Assistance) Act 2000.

4  Schedule(s)

                   Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
