Road User Charge Determination (No. 1) 2012

This determination increases the rate of the heavy vehicle Road User Charge from 23.1 cents per litre to 25.5 cents per litre to recover an attributable portion of heavy vehicle's share of increased government road expenditure to ensure they continue to pay their way.

Road User Charge Determination (No. 1) 2012

 

 

I, ANTHONY NORMAN ALBANESE, Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, having complied with the requirements of subsection 43-10(9) of the Fuel Tax Act 2006 (the Act) DETERMINE under subsection 43-10(7) of the Act that the rate of the Road User Charge is $0.255 for each litre of taxable fuel.

 

This Determination commences on 1 July 2012.
