These Regulations amend the Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage (Environment) Regulations 2009 to transfer the functions and powers of the regulator of environmental management for offshore petroleum operations from the Designated Authorities to the National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority.
