ADR 79/02 Amdt 3 Standards/Australian Design Rules for Vehicles as made
This instrument amends Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 79/02 - Emission Control for Light Vehicles) 2005 to to automatically exempt vehicles that comply with the new, more stringent requirements in ADR 79/03 or ADR 79/04 from the requirements of this standard.

1          LEGISLATIVE PROVISIONS

 

1.1       NAME OF LEGISLATIVE INSTRUMENT

 

1.1.1        This instrument is the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 79/02 – Emission Control for Light Vehicles) 2005 Amendment 3.

1.1.2        This instrument may also be cited as ADR 79/02 Amendment 3.

 

1.2       COMMENCEMENT

 

1.2.1        This instrument commences the day after it is registered.

 

2          AMENDMENT OF VEHICLE STANDARD

 

2.1.1        The changes specified in Schedule 1 amend Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 79/02 – Emission Control for Light Vehicles) 2005.

 

3             SCHEDULE 1

 

[1]        Insert new clause 2.5 which reads:

 “2.5    Vehicles which comply with ADR 79/03 or ADR 79/04 need not comply with this vehicle standard.”
