I, PROFESSOR MARIE BASHIR, AC, CVO, Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Amendment Act 2010.

1              Name of Regulations

                These Regulations are the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Amendment (Transitional Provisions) Amendment Regulations 2011 (No. 1).

2              Commencement

                These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

3              Amendment of Renewable Energy (Electricity) Amendment (Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2010

                Schedule 1 amends the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Amendment (Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2010.

[1]           Paragraph 7 (2) (a)

substitute

                (a)    before 12 March 2011; and

[2]           Subregulation 12 (2)

omit

1 April 2011.

insert

21 May 2011.
