FISHING SEASON DETERMINATION 2011

The Australian Fisheries Management Authority makes the following determination under section 1.3 of the Eastern Tuna and Billfish Fishery Management Plan 2010.

Citation

1.    This Determination may be cited as the ETBF Fishing Season Determination 2011.

Commencement

2.    This Determination commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.

Interpretation

3.   A term used in this Determination has the meaning given to it in the Eastern Tuna and Billfish Fishery Management Plan 2010.

Determination of the fishing season

4.   The fishing season in the Eastern Tuna and Billfish Fishery is the period
starting on 1 March in a year and ending on the last day of February in the following year.
