M8/2010 Principles as made
This instrument amends the MRCA Treatment Principles to give treatment providers 5 years instead of 6 months to lodge claims and remove the need for dental treatment for defence force members and their dependants to have the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Commission's prior approval (except where specified). The instrument also authorises payments of fees for treatment providers and updates references in the MRCA Treatment Principles to incorporated documents.
Administered by: Veterans' Affairs
General Comments: Saving: Despite the omission of the Schedule 3 by paragraph 26, the documents in that Schedule entitled “RAP National Schedule of Equipment” and “Rehabilitation Appliances Program (RAP) National Guidelines” in force on 1 September 2008 remain incorporated in the MRCA Treatment Principles until 1 September 2010.
