These Regulations ensure that from 1 July 2010 the Stage II Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation Scheme will include the diagnostic imaging services of cardiac ultrasound and angiography; obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound and nuclear medicine imaging services which this regulation currently excludes from the scheme.

1              Name of Regulations

                These Regulations are the Health Insurance Amendment Regulations 2009 (No. 6).

2              Commencement

                These Regulations commence on 1 July 2010.

3              Amendment of Health Insurance Regulations 1975

                Schedule 1 amends the Health Insurance Regulations 1975.
