Financial Management and Accountability Determination 2009/30 - Safe Work Australia Special Account Variation and Abolition 2009

This Determination varies and abolishes the Safe Work Australia Special Account, which was established on 2 March 2009 by the Financial Management and Accountability Determination 2009/07 - Safe Work Australia Special Account Establishment 2009.

General Comments: This determination takes effect on the day immediately after the last day on which a House of Parliament could have passed a resolution disallowing it (see s 22(4) of the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997).

The Safe Work Australia Special Account is abolished with effect from the time at which:
(a) Schedule 1 has taken effect; and
(b) the balance of the appropriation for the Safe Work Australia Special Account reaches zero.
