These Regulations amend the Legislative Instruments Regulations 2004, removing item 5 of Schedule 2 to remove instruments made under subsection 31(1) of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 from the disallowance exemption contained in regulation 8 of the LI Regulations.

1              Name of Regulations

                These Regulations are the Legislative Instruments Amendment Regulations 2009 (No. 1).

2              Commencement

                These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

3              Amendment of Legislative Instruments Regulations 2004

                Schedule 1 amends the Legislative Instruments Regulations 2004.
