These Regulations amend the Disability Discrimination Regulations 1996, adding Civil Aviation Order (CAO) 20.16.3 to Schedule 1 to make CAO 20.16.3 a prescribed law for the purposes of subsection 47(2) of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (DDA).

1              Name of Regulations

                These Regulations are the Disability Discrimination Amendment Regulations 2009 (No. 1).

2              Commencement

                These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

3              Amendment of Disability Discrimination Regulations 1996

                Schedule 1 amends the Disability Discrimination Regulations 1996.
