1              Name of Regulations

                These Regulations are the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Amendment Regulations 2009 (No. 1).

2              Commencement

                These Regulations commence on the day on which items 7 to 11 of Schedule 1 to the Australian Energy Market Amendment (AEMO and Other Measures) Act 2009 commence.

3              Amendment of Renewable Energy (Electricity) Regulations 2001

                Schedule 1 amends the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Regulations 2001.
