Financial Management and Accountability Determination 2009/16 - Abolition of Special Accounts 2009

This Determination abolishes two Services for other Government and Non-agency Bodies Accounts (Administrative Appeals Tribunal and National Native Title Tribunal), the Meat and Inspection Service Account (Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry), the Telstra Sale Special Account (Department of Finance and Deregulation) and six Foundations, Councils and Institutes Special Accounts (Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade).

General Comments: (1) The Special Accounts specified in Schedule 1 are abolished. (2) The Special Accounts specified in Schedule 2 are abolished with effect from the time at which the balance of the appropriation for the Special Account reaches zero.
