Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999

 

 

Conservation Themes for Prioritising Nominations for Listing Threatened Species, Threatened Ecological Communities and Key Threatening Processes for the Assessment Period Commencing 1 October 2009

 

Pursuant to subsection 194D(1) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, I, PETER ROBERT GARRETT, Minister for the Environment, Heritage and the Arts, determine the following conservation themes be given priority in relation to the assessment period commencing 1 October 2009:

 

Terrestrial, estuarine and near-shore environments of Australia’s coasts; and

 

Rivers, wetlands and groundwater dependent species and ecosystems of inland Australia.
