I, ALLAN GRANT HOUSTON, AC, AFC, Chief of the Defence Force, make the following Rules under subsections 68 (2) and 169FB (1) of the Defence Force Discipline Act 1982.

1              Name of Rules

                These Rules are the Defence Force Discipline (Consequences of Punishment) Amendment Rules 2008 (No. 1).

2              Commencement

                These Rules commence on the commencement of subsection 169FB (1) of the Defence Force Discipline Act 1982.

3              Amendment of Defence Force Discipline (Consequences of Punishment) Rules

                Schedule 1 amends the Defence Force Discipline (Consequences of Punishment) Rules.
