Transitional - (1) The amendments made by Schedules 1 and 2 apply to: (a) an application for registration received on or after 1 July 2008 and (b) a disciplinary proceeding commenced on or after 1 July 2008. (2) For paragraph (1) (b), disciplinary proceedings are taken to have commenced on or before 30 June 2008 if, on or before that date, the Board has given written authority to a complainant to bring proceedings against a registered patent attorney.
