This Determination varies the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997 - Initial Determination to Establish Components of the Reserved Money Fund (31/12/1997) to vary the purposes of certain Services for Other Governments and Non-agency Bodies (SOG) and Other Trust Moneys (OTM) Accounts. The purposes of certain Services for Other Governments and Non-Agency Bodies (SOG) Accounts and Other Trust Moneys (OTM) Accounts are required to be varied so that the balances of OTM and SOG Accounts can be transferred to similar Services for Other Entities and Trust Moneys Special Accounts.

General Comments: This Determination takes effect on the day immediately after the last day on which a House of Parliament could have passed a resolution disallowing it (see s 22(4) of the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997).

Financial Management and Accountability Determination 2008/15 to vary the purposes of certain Services for Other Governments and Non‑agency Bodies Accounts, and Other Trust Moneys Accounts

I, LINDSAY TANNER, Minister for Finance and Deregulation, make this Determination under subsection 20 (2) of the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997.

1              Name of Determination

                This Determination is the Financial Management and Accountability  Determination 2008/15 to vary the purposes of certain Services for Other Governments and Non‑agency Bodies Accounts, and Other Trust Moneys Accounts.

2              Commencement

                This Determination commences on the day on which subsection 22 (4) of the FMA Act is complied with.

Note       This Determination takes effect in accordance with section 22 of the FMA Act. The Parliament must consider the Determination before it can take effect, and either House may pass a resolution disallowing the Determination. If neither House passes such a resolution, the Determination takes effect on the day immediately after the last day upon which such a resolution could have been passed.

3              Variation

                Schedule 1 varies the determination titled Initial Determination to Establish Components of the Reserved Money Fund, made on 31 December 1997.

4              Definition

                In this Determination:

FMA Act means the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997.
