These Regulations amend the Electronic Transactions Regulations 2000 (the Regulations) by removing subsections 54(2) and 71(1) of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 from the list of exemptions in the Regulations so that certain documents can be provided to Comcare electronically.

1              Name of Regulations

                These Regulations are the Electronic Transactions Amendment Regulations 2008 (No. 1).

2              Commencement

                These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

3              Amendment of Electronic Transactions Regulations 2000

                Schedule 1 amends the Electronic Transactions Regulations 2000.
