This Determination states the purpose and calculations of basic salaries and allowances.

General Comments: This Determination was made under rule 2.1.1. of the Rules for the Administration of the Superannuation Scheme set out in the Schedule to the Trust Deed referred to in section 4 of the Superannuation Act 1990 and is continued in force under rule 2.1.1 of the Deed to Establish an Occupational Superannuation Scheme for Commonwealth Employees and Certain Other Persons (the Public Sector Superannuation Scheme) (see r 1.2.1 of the Deed).
