DECLARATION OF DESIGNATED OUTWARDS SECONDARY SHIPPER BODY PURSUANT TO SUBSECTION 10.03(2)
OF THE TRADE PRACTICES ACT 1974

WHEREAS I, JOHN DUNCAN ANDERSON, Minister of State for Transport and Regional Services, am of the opinion that:
· the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries represents the interests, in relation to outwards liner cargo shipping services, of shippers in Australia of passenger, light commercial and four-wheel drive motor vehicles and motor cycles, and related spare parts and components; and
· that it is desirable that the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries be a designated outwards secondary shipper body for the purposes of Part X of the Trade Practices Act 1974.
NOW I, pursuant to subsection 10.03(2) of the Act hereby declare the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries to be a designated outwards secondary shipper body for the purposes of Part X of the Trade Practices Act 1974.
