I, NICK MINCHIN, Minister for Finance and Administration, make this Declaration under paragraph 6 (2) (c) of the Superannuation Act 1990.

1              Name of Declaration

                This Declaration is the Superannuation (PSS) Membership Exclusion Amendment Declaration 2007 (No. 1).

2              Commencement

                This Declaration commences on the day after it is registered.

 

3              Amendments to the Superannuation (PSS) Membership Exclusion Declaration 1995

 

After item 42 of the Schedule to the Superannuation (PSS) Membership Exclusion Declaration 1995 insert:

43                A person who:

(a)     is a Mersey Hospital APS Employee as defined in the Determination made under subsection 24(3) of the Public Service Act 1999 on 30 October 2007 as amended from time to time; and

(b)    immediately before becoming such an employee was not a PSS member.
