These Regulations amend the Family Law Regulations 1984 to add a schedule to prescribe the relevant State and Territory laws for the purposes of paragraph 69ZX(4)(b) of the Family Law Act 1975.

1              Name of Regulations

                These Regulations are the Family Law Amendment Regulations 2007 (No. 2).

2              Commencement

                These Regulations commence on the commencement of subsection 69ZX (4) of the Act.

3              Amendment of Family Law Regulations 1984

                Schedule 1 amends the Family Law Regulations 1984.

12CE      Evidence relating to professional confidential relationship privilege — prescribed laws

                For paragraph 69ZX (4) (b) of the Act, each law mentioned in an item in Schedule 9A, being a law of the State or Territory mentioned in the item, is prescribed.
