These Regulations amend the Financial Management and Accountability Regulations 1997 to amend the prescription details of the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research and establish the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) and the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority as prescribed agencies.

General Comments: These Regulations commence as follows: (a) on the day after they are registered — regulations 1 to 3; (b) on the later of: (i) 1 July 2007; and (ii) the commencement of the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research Amendment Act 2007; Schedule 1; (c) on the later of: (i) 1 July 2007; and (ii) the commencement of Schedules 1 and 2 to the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Administration) Amendment Act 2007; Schedule 2; (d) on the later of: (i) 1 July 2007; and (ii) the commencement of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Amendment Act 2007; Schedule 3.
