These Regulations amend the Commonwealth Authorities and Companies Regulations 1997 to add the Royal Australian Navy Central Canteens Fund to a new table in regulation 6 and remove the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and the Corporation and Markets Advisory Committee from schedule 1 part 1.

I, PHILIP MICHAEL JEFFERY, Governor‑General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Commonwealth Authorities and Companies Act 1997.

1              Name of Regulations

                These Regulations are the Commonwealth Authorities and Companies Amendment Regulations 2007 (No. 1).

2              Commencement

                These Regulations commence as follows:

                 (a)     on 1 July 2007 — regulations 1 to 3 and Schedule 1;

                (b)     on the commencement of Schedules 1 and 2 to the Governance Review Implementation (Treasury Portfolio Agencies) Act 2007 — Schedule 2.

3              Amendment of Commonwealth Authorities and Companies Regulations 1997

                Schedules 1 and 2 amend the Commonwealth Authorities and Companies Regulations 1997.
