Financial Management and Accountability Determination 2007/05 - PSS Special Account Variation and Abolition 2007

This Determination is required to ensure the balance standing to the credit of this special account reduces to zero, at which time abolition of it will occur.

General Comments: This Determination takes effect on the day immediately after the last day on which a House of Parliament could have passed a resolution disallowing it (see s 22(4) of the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997).

The PSS Special Account is abolished with effect from the time at which:
(a) Schedule 1 has taken effect, and
(b) the balance of the apprpriation for the PSS Special Account reaches zero.
Exempt from sunsetting by the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997 s 20(6), Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997 s 20(7)
