1 Name of Regulations
These Regulations are the Financial Management and Accountability Amendment Regulations 2007 (No. 2).
2 Commencement
These Regulations commence as follows:
(a) on the day after they are registered — regulations 1 to 3 and Schedule 1;
(b) at Ombudsman conversion time, mentioned in subsection 27 (1) of the Private Health Insurance (Transitional Provisions and Consequential Amendments) Act 2007 — Schedule 2.
Note Subsection 27 (1) of the Private Health Insurance (Transitional Provisions and Consequential Amendments) Act 2007 contains the following definition:
Ombudsman conversion time means 1 July 2007 or, if a later day is specified in Private Health Insurance (Transitional) Rules for the purposes of this definition, that later day.
3 Amendment of Financial Management and Accountability Regulations 1997
Schedules 1 and 2 amend the Financial Management and Accountability Regulations 1997.
