Proclamation

I, PHILIP MICHAEL JEFFERY, Governor‑General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and under subsection 2 (1) of the Electoral and Referendum Legislation Amendment Act 2007, fix 16 April 2007 as the day on which Part 1 of Schedule 3 to that Act commences.
