This Direction provides that appropriations, provided to the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, be transferred to the following:departmental outputs appropriation of $6,924,427 in Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2001-02, to the Department of Transport and Regional Services, and $6,153,043 in Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2001-02, to the Department of Industry, Tourism and Resources, administered expenses appropriation of $42,024,995 in Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2001-02, to the Department of Transport and Regional Services, and amounts totalling $4,924,232 in Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2001-02, to the Department of Industry, Tourism and Resources and non-lapsing appropriation from prior years of $346,353 to the Department of Transport and Regional Services, and $426,821 to the Department of Industry, Tourism and Resources.

General Comments: This Direction was made under section 32 of the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997. Despite the repeal and substitution of the section made by Schedule 1, item 9 of the Financial Framework Legislation Amendment Act (No. 1) 2007 (Act No. 166 of 2007) C2007A00166, section 32 of the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997 (as in force immediately before the commencement of that item) continues to apply after that commencement in relation to a change in function that occurred before that commencement (see Schedule 1, item 17 of the Financial Framework Legislation Amendment Act (No. 1) 2007 (Act No. 166 of 2007) C2007A00166).
