I, PHILIP MICHAEL JEFFERY, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997.

1 Name of Regulations
These Regulations are the Financial Management and Accountability Amendment Regulations 2006 (No. 5).
2 Commencement
These Regulations commence as follows:
(a) on the day after the Regulations are registered — regulations 1 and 2;
(b) on 1 July 2006 — regulation 3 and Schedule 1;
(c) on the commencement of Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Australian Trade Commission Legislation Amendment Act 2006 — regulation 4 and Schedule 2;
(d) at the time declared, in a notice published in the Gazette under subsection 58 (2) of the Dairy Produce Act 1986, to be the second DAA phase-down time — regulation 5 and Schedule 3.
3 Amendment of Financial Management and Accountability Regulations 1997 (AIFS and ARIA)
Schedule 1 amends the Financial Management and Accountability Regulations 1997.
4 Amendment of Financial Management and Accountability Regulations 1997 (Austrade)
Schedule 2 amends the Financial Management and Accountability Regulations 1997.
5 Amendment of Financial Management and Accountability Regulations 1997 (DAA)
Schedule 3 amends the Financial Management and Accountability Regulations 1997.
