Determination by the Minister for Finance and Administration under section 20 of the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997 - PSS Special Account (14/06/2002)

This Determination establishes the PSS Special Account which provides for the expenditure of monies related to the administration of the PSS Scheme by the PSS Board, the performance of any other function conferred on the PSS Board under legislation, and the management and investment of the PSS Fund by the PSS Board, where a corresponding amount has been or is to be credited to the Account from the PSS Fund in respect of such expenditure.

General Comments: This Determination takes effect on the day immediately after the last day on which a House of Parliament could have passed a resolution disallowing it (see s 22(4) of the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997). The PSS Special Account was abolished by the Financial Management and Accountability Determination 2007/05 - PSS Special Account Variation and Abolition 2007 (FRLI No. F2006B11639.
