This Declaration amends the Schedule of the Superannuation (PSS) Membership Exclusion Declaration to ensure that statutory office holders at the University of Canberra remain excluded from membership of the PSS after that University transferred from the Commonwealth to the ACT.

Superannuation (PSS) Membership Exclusion Declaration2 (Amendment)

I, JOHN JOSEPH FAHEY, Minister for Finance and Administration, make the following Declaration under paragraph 6 (2) (c) of the Superannuation Act 1990.

1.   Commencement

1.1   This Declaration is taken to have commenced on 1 December 1997.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Superannuation (PSS) Membership Exclusion Declaration is amended as set out in this Declaration.

3.   Schedule (Persons to whom section 6 of the 1990 Act does not apply)

3.1   Paragraph 22 (g):

Omit the paragraph.

3.2   After item 22, insert:

“22A      A person who holds a statutory office under the University of Canberra Act 1989 of the Australian Capital Territory.”.
