This Declaration amends the Superannuation (CSS) Approved Authority Declaration by adding the Private Health Insurance Commissioner and Australia Foundation for Culture and the Humanities Ltd to the list of approved authorities for the purposes of the Superannuation Act 1976.

Superannuation (CSS) Approved Authority Declaration2 (Amendment)

I, JOHN JOSEPH FAHEY, Minister for Finance, make the following Declaration under subsection 3 (1) of the Superannuation Act 1976.

1.   Commencement

1.1   Subclause 3.1 is taken to have commenced on 1 January 1996.

1.2   Subclause 3.2 is taken to have commenced on 16 January 1996.

[NOTE: The remainder of this Declaration commences on gazettal: see Superannuation Act 1976, s. 4A and Acts Interpretation Act 1901, ss. 46A and 48.]

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Superannuation (CSS) Approved Authority Declaration is amended as set out in this Declaration.

3.   Clause 4 (Approved authorities)

3.1   After:

“Private Health Insurance Administration Council”,

insert:

“Private Health Insurance Complaints Commissioner”.

3.2   After:

“ANL Limited”,

insert:

“Australia Foundation for Culture and the Humanities Ltd.”.
