These Regulations amend the Superannuation (CSS) Former Eligible Employees Regulations (Principal Regulations) to allow persons specified in the relevant Schedules to the Principal Regulations to access their benefits in the same circumstances as those which apply to other persons who have deferred benefits or postponed benefits as appropriate under the Superannuation Act 1976.

I, JOHN SANDERSON, Administrator of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Superannuation Act 1976.

1              Name of Regulations

                These Regulations are the Superannuation (CSS) Former Eligible Employees Amendment Regulations 2005 (No. 1).

2              Commencement

                These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

3              Amendment of Superannuation (CSS) Former Eligible Employees Regulations

                Schedule 1 amends the Superannuation (CSS) Former Eligible Employees Regulations.
