These Regulations amend the Jury Exemption Regulations 1987 to remove the exemption from jury duty for certain office holders in the obsolete Departments of the Parliamentary Reporting Staff and the Joint House.

1              Name of Regulations

                These Regulations are the Jury Exemption Amendment Regulations 2005 (No. 1).

2              Commencement

                These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

3              Amendment of Jury Exemption Regulations 1987

                Schedule 1 amends the Jury Exemption Regulations 1987.
