These Regulations amend the Health Insurance Regulations 1975 to prescribe the six new items of chronic disease management services as items that attract a Medicare benefit equal to 100% of the Medicare schedule fee.

1              Name of Regulations

                These Regulations are the Health Insurance Amendment Regulations 2005 (No. 3).

2              Commencement

                These Regulations commence on 1 July 2005.

3              Amendment of Health Insurance Regulations 1975

                Schedule 1 amends the Health Insurance Regulations 1975.
