The instrument directs that departmental outputs appropriation of $1,051,000, provided to the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations in Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2004-05, be transferred to the Department of Human Services.

General Comments: This Direction was made under section 32 of the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997. Despite the repeal and substitution of the section made by Schedule 1, item 9 of the Financial Framework Legislation Amendment Act (No. 1) 2007 (Act No. 166 of 2007) C2007A00166, section 32 of the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997 (as in force immediately before the commencement of that item) continues to apply after that commencement in relation to a change in function that occurred before that commencement (see Schedule 1, item 17 of the Financial Framework Legislation Amendment Act (No. 1) 2007 (Act No. 166 of 2007) C2007A00166).

DIRECTION UNDER SECTION 32, FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND ACCOUNTABILITY ACT 1997

I, Phillip Prior, Acting General Manager, Financial Management Group, Department of Finance and Administration, pursuant to section 32 of the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997, hereby direct that the moneys listed in column 4 of the attached schedule for the items listed in column 1, be transferred from the 'old agency' listed in column 2 to the 'new agency' listed in column 3. This direction takes effect on the date of registration of the instrument.
