General Comments: This Plan was originally made under s 19 of the Radio Commmunications Act 1983 and is continued in force under s 32 of the Radiocommunications Act 1992. See s 4 of the Radiocommunications (Transitional Provisions and Consequential Amendments) Act 1992 (Act No. 167, 1992).

I, BOB COLLINS, Minister of State for Transport and Communications, make the following amendments of the 900 MHz Band Plan under the Radiocommunications Act 1983.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The 900 MHz Band Plan is amended as set out in this instrument.

[NOTE: This instrument commences on gazettal: see Radiocommunications Act 1983, s.20 and see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2.   General note to clause 2

2.1   After “GENERAL NOTE:”, insert:

“This general note and other notes in square brackets are intended to provide guidance in the operation of the Band Plan and are not intended to be part of the Band Plan.”.
