Empowers the Repatriation Commission, as well as the Veterans' Children Education Scheme Boards, to make decisions under the Veterans' Children Education Scheme (Scheme) (made under section 117 of the Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986) on whether or not a beneficiary under the Scheme should receive additional tuition or special financial assistance.

SECTION 117

 

 

INSTRUMENT OF APPROVAL

 

 

            I, BRUCE SCOTT, Minister for Veterans’ Affairs, in accordance with subsection 117(3) of the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986 ('the Act'), hereby approve the attached Instrument (No. 3 of 1999), made by the Repatriation Commission under subsection 117(2) of the Act to vary the Veterans' Children Education Scheme prepared by the Repatriation Commission under subsection 117(1) of the Act.
