Empowers the Repatriation Commission, as well as the Veterans' Children Education Scheme Boards, to make decisions under the Veterans' Children Education Scheme (Scheme) (made under section 117 of the Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986) on whether or not a beneficiary under the Scheme should receive additional tuition or special financial assistance.

1                  Name of variation

 

     This variation is the Veterans' Children Education Scheme (Additional Tuition and Special Financial Assistance) Variation 1999 (No.3).

 

2                  Commencement

 

         This variation commences when it is approved by the Minister responsible for administering the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986.

 

3       Variation of the Veterans' Children Education Scheme

         Schedule 1 varies the Veterans' Children Education Scheme.
