CIVIL AVIATION REGULATIONS

 

 

 

I, JOHN EDWIN INNES PIKE, Acting Director of Aviation Safety, on behalf of CASA, under regulation 151 of the Civil Aviation Regulations, authorise the helicopters operated by the Police Air Wing of the Victoria Police (Aviation Reference Number 053072) to engage in operational training in winching in accordance with the conditions set out in Schedule 1.

 

The provisions of section 29.11 of the Civil Aviation Orders have effect only to the extent specified in Schedule 1.

 

SCHEDULE 1

 

CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO TRAINING OPERATIONS

 

1.         The training must be carried out in accordance with:

                        (a)       the requirements of section 29.11 (other than subsection 5) of the Civil Aviation Orders; and

                        (b)       those sections of the Police Air Wing Operations Manual that relate to operational training in winching as in force at the date of this instrument.
